Allah humma bis-mika aamu'tu wa aah'ya

অর্থ : হে আল্লাহ! আমি তোমারই নামে মৃত্যুবরণ করি, আবার তোমারই নামে জীবন ধারন করি।

O Allah , In Your Name, I die and I live

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: আলহামদুলিল্লাহিল লাজি আহইয়ানা বা’দা মা আমাতানা ওয়া ইলাইহিন নুশুর

Pronunciation

Alhamdu lillahil-lathee ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa-ilayhin-nushoor

Translation

All praise be to Allah, who gave us life after killing us (sleep is a form of death) and to Him will we be raised and returned

বাংলা উচ্চারণঃ ( আলহামদুলিল্লাহি আলা দ্বীন-ই ইসলাম, আলইসলামু-হাক্কু, ওল কুফরে বাতীলুন, ওল ইসলামু নূরুন, ওল কুফরে জুল্বমাত )

Ālahāmdulillāhi ālā ddīn-i islām, āl islāmu-hākku, ōl kupharē bātīlun, ōl  islāmu nūrun, ōl kupharē julamāta.

I begin in the name of Allah, who is the Most Merciful, Most Gracious

Abu Hurairah (r.a) narrates, I heard Rasulullah (s.a.w) said, My Ummah will be called on the Day of Resurrection with their limbs and faces shining from the traces of Wudu. So whoever amongst you can increase the area of his radiance should do so. (i.e. by performing Wudu regularly)

Dua 6 : Completion of Wudu –

দোয়াটি নিম্নরূপ : আশহাদ আল-লা-ইলাহা ইল্লাল্লাহু ওয়াহ্দাহু লা-শরীকালাহু ওয়া আশহাদু আন্না মুহাম্মাদান ’আবদুহু ওয়া রাসূলুহু।

Pronunciation

Ashhadu al la ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan aab-duhu warasooluh

Translation

I testify that there is no one worthy of worship besides Allah. He is all by Himself and has no partner and I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Rasul (Messenger

অর্থ : আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত কোনো ইলাহ্ নেই। তিনি এক, তাঁর কোনো অংশীদার নেই। আমি আরো সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, হযরত মুহাম্মদ সল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আল্লাহর বান্দা ও রাসূল। হে আল্লাহ! আমাকে তাওবাকারী ও পবিত্রতা অর্জনকারী লোকদের মধ্যে শামিল করুন। (সহীহ মুসলিম ও জামে আত-তিরমিযী)

Dua 7:  Entering the Mosque- ১.মসজিদে প্রবেশ করার সময়ের দোয়া

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: আল্ল-হুম্মাহ তাহলী আবওয়া-বা রহমাতিকা।

Pronunciation

Bismil-lah, wassalatu wassalamu ala rasoolil-lah, allahummaf tah-lee aab-wa ba rahmatik

অর্থ : হে আল্ল-হ! তুমি আমার জন্য তোমার রহমতেরদরজাসমূহ খুলে দাও।

বাংলা উচ্চারণ:আল্লা-হুম্মা ইন্নী আস্’আলুকা মিন ফায্ লিকা।

Bismil-lah – wassalatu wassalamu ala rasoolil-lah, allahumma innee as-aluka min fadlik

অর্থ :হে আল্ল-হ ! অবশ্যই আমি তোমার অনুগ্রহ আশা করছি।

Dua 9: Before the Meals- খাবার গ্রহণের দোয়া

যেভাবে খাবার শুরু করবেন হজরত আয়িশা রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহা হতে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, রাসুল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন, ‘যখন তোমাদের কেউ আহার করে সে যেন বলে-

বিসমিল্লাহ অতপর ডান হাত দিয়ে খাবার শুরু করতে হবে।

Pronunciation: Bismil-lah

অতপর এই দোয়াটি পড়া-

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: আল্লাহুম্মা বা-রিক্ লানা- ফী-হি ওয়া আত্বইমনা খাইরাম্ মিনহু।

Dua 10: Forgetting to recite Bismillah

Pronunciation: Bismil-lahi fee awwalihi wa-akhirih

Translation

In the name of Allah in the beginning and end

Aisha (r.a) reported, Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “When any of you wants to eat, he should mention the Name of Allah in the beginning, (i.e., say Bismillah) If he forgets to do it in the beginning, he should say (this Du'a)

Dua 11 : After meals: খাবার শেষের দোয়া

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: আলহামদু লিল্লাহিল্লাজি আত্বআমানা ওয়া সাক্বানা ওয়া ঝাআলানা মিনাল মুসলিমিন। (আবু দাউদ, মিশকাত)

Pronunciation

Alhamdu lillah hil lazi aat'aa mana wasakana wa-ja-aa lana Muslimin

অর্থ : সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহর জন্য যিনি খাওয়ালেন এবং পান করালেন এবং মুসলমান হিসেবে অন্তর্ভূক্ত করলেন।

All praise belongs to Allah, who fed us and quenched our thirst and made us Muslims

Allahumma barik lana feehi wa-aath-imna khayran minh

Translation

O Allah, You grant us blessings in it and grant us better than it

Dua 13 : Leaving Home -বাসা হতে বের হওয়ার সময়ের দোয়া

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: বিসমিল্লাহি তাওয়াক’কালতু আলাল্লাহি ওয়ালা হাওলা ওয়ালা কু’ওয়াতা ইল্লা বিল্লাহ

Pronunciation

Bismil-lah, tawakkaltu alal-lah, wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah

ফজিলত :

রাসূল বলেছেন যে ব্যাক্তি এই দোয়া পড়ে ঘর থেকে বেরোবে সকল বিপদ থেকে সে নিরাপদে থাকবে ও ইবলিশ শয়তান তার কোনো ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। (তিরমিজী শরীফ, খন্ড-২ পৃষ্ঠা-১৮০)

The messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “When any one of you enters his home and mentions the Name of Allah, when he enters and when he eats, the Shaytan says, 'You have no place to stay and nothing to eat here.'

If he enters and does not mention the name of Allah when he enters, [the Shaytan] says, ‘You have a place to stay.’ If he does not mention the name of Allah when he eats, [the Shaytan says], 'You have a place to stay and something to eat.'

Dua 14 : Entering Home- ঘরে প্রবেশ করার দোয়া

বাংলা উচ্চারণ : বিসমিল্লাহি ওয়ালাজনা, ওয়াবিস্‌মিল্লাহি খারাজনা, ওয়া ‘আলাল্লাহি রাব্বিনা তাওয়াক্কালনা)

Pronunciation

Bismil-lahi walajna, wabismil-lahi kharajna, wa'ala rabbina tawakkalna

অর্থ: আল্লাহ্‌র নামে আমরা প্রবেশ করলাম, আল্লাহ্‌র নামেই আমরা বের হলাম এবং আমাদের রব আল্লাহ্‌র উপরই আমরা ভরসা করলাম।

Translation

In the Name of Allah we enter , in the Name of Allah we leave , & upon our Lord we depend [then say As-Salaamu ‘Alaykum to those present]

Hadith/Benefit

Prophet (s.a.w) also said, “If a man goes out of his house and says (This Du’a) it will be said to him, 'this will take care of you, you are guided, you have what you need and you are protected.' The Shaytan will stay away from him, and another Shaytan will say to him, 'what can you do with a man who is guided, provided for and protected’.

Dua 15: On Journey-

Pronunciation

Subha-nal-lazi sakh-kha ralana haza wama kunna lahu mukhri-nee-na wa-inna ila rabbina lamun-qaliboon

Translation

Allah is pure, He has given control and without His power we would not have any control Without doubt we are to return to him

Dua 16: Return From Journey

Pronunciation

Subha-nal-lazi sakh-kha ralana haza wama kunna lahu mukhri-nee-n, wa-inna ila rabbina lamun-qaliboon, AAaiboona, ta-iboona, AAabidoona, lirabbina hamidoon

Translation

Allah is pure, He has given control and without His power we would not have any control Without doubt we are to return to him, We return, repent, worship and praise our Lord

Narrated Abu Hurairah (r.a) The Prophet said, "Allah loves sneezing but dislikes yawning, so if anyone of you sneezes and then praises Allah, every Muslim who hears him (praising Allah) has to say Tashmit to him. But as regards yawning, it is from Satan, so if one of you yawns, he should try his best to stop it, for when anyone of you yawns, Satan laughs at him."
